“Jo, jangan gitu. Gua benaran mau banget jadi bagian politikus di negeri
ini. Kita punya mimpi yang sama, menegakkan keadilan di Indonesia. Jangan
ninggalin gua Jooo.” Kata ku sedikit menahan sesak.
“Ya ampun Runa. Gua ga ninggalin lo, lo tau gua aja ga bisa jauh dari lo.
Tidur gih teleponnya jangan dimatiin, besok lo mau tes jangan sampai ga vit.
Besok pagi gua udah ada di rumah lo.” Ucapnya dengan suara yang
menenangkan.
“Jo, lo gitu bikin gua mau nangis. Temenin ya?”
“Iyaaa Arunaaa. Gih tidur, selamat malam peri baik.”
“Selamat malammmm.”

Keesokan harinya benar saja, Jovan sudah ada di ruang tamu bersama papa
yang tampaknya sudah siap untuk berangkat kerja. “Nah itu anak perawan baru
bangun. Sini kak gabung.” Ucap Papa saat melihatku turun dari tangga.
“Jo udah lama?” Tanyaku sembari ikut gabung dengan mereka dan duduk
tepat di samping Jovan.
“Belum lama, Na.” Jawab Jo.
“Papa berangkat kerja dulu ya? Kalian ngobrol aja, nanti kalau mau
sarapan di dapur udah ada, Bi Mimah udah nyiapin.” Kata Papa.
“Oh iya, jangan lupa kabarin Papa kalau udah di tempat tes nya. Papa yakin
kamu bisa, Kak. Berdoa dulu sebelum ujian, oke?” Tambahnya dengan memberi
sedikit semangat.
“Iya, Pa. Nanti Kakak kabarin.” Jawabku.
Sepeninggalan Papa kita berdua berbincang banyak mengenai kesiapan ku
dan tentang rasanya menjadi mahasiswa baru di Universitas Indonesia nanti. Ah..
Rasanya aku semakin yakin untuk bisa lolos.
Aku mendapat ujian sesi siang, sehingga aku bisa belajar lagi sebelum
ujian dilaksanakan. Jovan datang pagi-pagi untuk membantu ku mempersiapkan
diri ku supaya aku bisa sedikit tenang.
“Aruna, gua yakin lo bisa.”
“Iya, gua yakin gua bisa.”

Kini aku dan Jovan sudah sama di tempat ku ujian. Sedikit takut namun
Jovan selalu menenangkan ku.
Saat berjalan menuju ruangan ku, Jovan tidak lepas dari genggaman tangan
ku. Lalu dia berkata, “Doa dulu ya cantik. Jangan terlalu dibawa takut. I know
you can do it”. Semesta harus tau bahwa aku beruntung memilikinya.
Aku segera keluar menuju parkiran setelah ujian berakhir. Jovan menunggu
ku di sana. Saat aku menemukannya dia langsung memelukku dan berkata,
“Gimana cantik? Lancar?” tanya nya.
Aku mengangguk sekilas dan berucap lirih, “Iya, lancar. Kayanya gua udah
lega banget buat sekarang tapi ga tau deh nanti waktu pengumuman.”
“Hahaha, sekarang gua mau merayakan atas keberhasilan lo karena ga
pingsan waktu ujian. Lo mau apa?” Kata Jo sambil melepaskan pelukannya.
“Gua pengen cilok, lo mau ga? Tapi cilok yang ada di SMA kita.”
“Ide bagus, gua juga kangen sama Pak Hadi— satpam sekolah ku.”
“Hahahaha, udahlah yukkk.”

Hari demi hari, minggu demi minggu, bulan demi bulan berlalu. Tak terasa
waktu pengumuman SBMPTN akan segera tiba. Rasa takut dan gelisah semakin
menghantui ku tapi beruntungnya Jovan selalu siap sedia di sisi ku.
Nanti sore hasil seleksi akan keluar. Sama seperti sebelumnya, aku dan
Jovan akan membukanya bersama. Namun kali ini hanya di rumah ku karena aku
takut akan menangis seperti di cafe kemarin, itu memalukan.
Aku dan Jovan sedang di ruang tamu, aku sangat takut hingga laptop ku
serahkan kepada Jovan. “Jo, lo aja deh yang buka. Takut gua.”
“Yeu bocah, sini deh.” Katanya dengan mengambil alih laptop ku.
Hasil seleksi sudah bisa diakses, rasa takut ku semakin besar akan
kegagalan menghampiri ku lagi. Dalam hati aku berkata, “Ya Allah semoga
lolos”.
“Na, lo mau liat hasilnya ga?” Tanya Jo setelah dia melihat hasil
seleksinya.

“Ga mau liat, tapi itu hasilnya bikin gua senang atau sedih atau sedih
banget?” Kataku dengan rasa takut.
“Bikin lo senang, hasilnya bagus banget. Gua bangga sama lo.” Kata Jo.
“Eh? Gua.. ke terima di mana?”
“Nih liat aja deh.” Jo menyodorkan layar laptop kepadaku.
Betapa terkejutnya aku ketika melihat halaman seleksi. Layar berwarna
biru dimana artinya aku lolos seleksi. Saat aku melihat universitas mana yang aku
dapatkan, aku lolos di Universitas Indonesia dengan Fakultas Hukum.
Aku dengan refleks memeluk Jovan dan menangis di pelukannya. “Jo, gua
bisa. Gua bisa buat kita satu almamater..”
Jovan membalas pelukan ku dan mengusap pelan punggung ku lalu
berkata, “Aruna, gua benaran senang banget karena kita bisa satu kampus. Sesuai
mimpi kita.”
Aku melepas pelukan ku saat aku bisa berhenti menangis, lalu menatap
matanya, “Jelek ga gua habis nangis?”
“Engga, cantik kok. Elah cewek gua ini.”
“Gombal banget, dipacarin aja enggak.”
“HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.”
Epilog
Aku menatap bangunan tinggi di depan ku dengan penuh kagum. Betapa
senangnya aku bisa menjadi salah satu mahasiswi di Universitas yang selalu aku
dambakan. Langit biru seakan paham tentang kekaguman ku, burung-burung
camar yang berterbangan semakin membuatku nyaman di tempat ini.
Lelaki di sebelah ku pun sepertinya merasakan hal yang sama. Dia
menggenggam tangan ku dengan erat, lalu berkata, “Na, kita yang bukan apaapa bisa buktiin kalau kita bisa masuk ke sini. Setelah lulus nanti kita akan
menjadi lebih hebat. Menjadi seorang politikus yang dapat menegakkan
keadilan. Menghilangkan para bedebah di negeri kita”.
“Kita udah jauh lebih hebat dari sebelumnya. Namun masih ada proses
lagi kedepannya. Kita berada di buku ke-dua dan perlu menamatkan buku ini lalu

menuju buku ke-tiga. Kita akan sangat jauh lebih hebat apalagi jika kita berhasil
menjadi bunga mawar di antara para bedebah tersebut.”
