Carita wayang Ramayana merupakan salah satu cerita pewayangan yang paling terkenal dan populer di Indonesia, terutama di Jawa dan Bali. Cerita ini berasal dari India dan telah diadaptasi ke dalam budaya Jawa dan Bali.
Sinopsis Carita Wayang Ramayana
Cerita Ramayana menceritakan tentang perjuangan Rama, seorang pangeran dari Ayodhya, untuk membebaskan istrinya, Sinta, dari tangan Rahwana, raja Alengka yang ingin memiliki Sinta. Rama dibantu oleh Hanoman dan Raja Sugriwa yang merupakan Raja para Wanara (manusia kera), yang juga mempunyai dendam kepada Rahwana .
Tokoh-Tokoh Utama
- Rama: Pangeran dari Ayodhya, suami Sinta.
- Sinta: Istri Rama, putri Raja Janaka.
- Rahwana: Raja Alengka, musuh Rama.
- Lesmana: Adik Rama, sahabat setia.
- Hanoman: Kera sakti, sahabat Rama, sareung anak buah Raja Sugriwa.
Babak-Babak Cerita
- Babak pertama: Rama dan Sinta hidup bahagia di Ayodhya, setelah Rama memenangkan sayembara untuk mendapatkan Sinta.
- Babak kedua: Rahwana menculik Sinta dan membawanya ke Alengka.
- Babak ketiga: Rama dan Lesmana mencari Sinta dan berperang melawan Rahwana.
- Babak keempat: Hanoman membantu Rama dan Lesmana dalam perang melawan Rahwana.
- Babak kelima: Rama dan Rahwana berperang, Rama memenangkan perang dan membebaskan Sinta.
Pesan Moral
Cerita Ramayana mengajarkan tentang pentingnya:
- Kesetiaan dan kejujuran.
- Perjuangan melawan kejahatan.
- Persahabatan dan kesolidaritan.
- Pengorbanan untuk kebaikan.
