  1. Al Mujahadah Ala Al Khauf (Menaklukkan Rasa Takut)

Rasa takut sebagai lawan dari asy syaja’ah memang amat manusiawi. Kenyataan ini merupakan watak alamiyah yang dimiliki setiap insan. Seperti takut terbakar, tenggelam, terjatuh di mangsa binatang buas dan lain sebagainya. Namun rasa takut semacam itu harus berada di bawah khauf syar’i yakni takut kepada Allah SWT. Sehingga setiap kader dakwah sepatutnya menaklukkan rasa takut alami/bawaan (thabi’inya) dengan mengkedepankan rasa takut kepada Rabbbul Izzati. Dengan begitu mereka akan ringan dalam memperjuangkan dakwah, tidak maju mundur lantaran ketakutan-ketakutan yang ada pada dirinya.

Hal tersebut secara indah dan heroik terlihat gamblang pada kisah Nabi Musa AS., Ibrahim AS. dan Muhammad SAW atau seperti kisah yang terjadi dijaman sekarang. Rasa takut pada kemungkinan tenggelam ke laut merah teratasi oleh ketenangan, optimisme dan keberanian Nabi Musa AS. yang senantiasa yakin Allah bersamanya dan akan menunjukinya jalan. Dan benar saja Allah memberinya jalan keluar berupa mukjizat berupa terbelahnya laut merah dengan pukulan tongkatnya sehingga bisa dilalui oleh Nabi Musa dan pengikutnya. Kemudian laut itu menyatu kembali dan menenggelamkan Firaun beserta bala tentaranya.

Kisah yang tidak kalah mencengangkan terlihat pada peristiwa pembakaran Nabi Ibrahim AS. Rasa takut thabi’i terhadap api dan terbakar olehnya teratasi oleh rasa takut syar’i yakni takut kepada Allah saja. Dan subhanallah, pertolongan Allah datang dengan perintah-Nya kepada api agar menjadi dingin dan sejuk serta menyelamatkan Nabi Ibrahim AS.

Demikian juga apa yang dialami para murid-murid syeikh Umar Tilmisani yang harus menerima hukuman atas perjuangannya selama ini. Sang syeikh digugat oleh murid-muridnya yang telah disiksa musuh-musuh dakwah. Ada yang digantung, ada yang disetrum, ada yang dibunuh. Para murid meminta syeikh untuk keringanan hukuman yang mereka derita karena rasa takut yang luar biasa. Syeikh mengusir rasa takut murid-muridnya dengan menyatakan, ‘wahai murid-muridku. Musuh-musuh Allah itu bisa berbuat apa saja pada kita. Mereka mampu mencincang kita, mereka juga dapat menggantung kita, mereka juga bisa membunuh kita. Namun ada hal yang harus kamu yakini bahwa mereka tidak akan pernah melakukannya di tempat yang tidak ada Allahnya. Pasti Allah bersama kalian dalam berbagai keadaan’.

Selayaknya setiap kader dakwah selalu menundukkan rasa takut insaniyah/thabi’inya dengan mendominasikan rasa takut syar’inya. Sehingga yang selalu tertanam dalam dirinya hanya takut pada Allah semata. Dan tidak pernah gentar akan kekuatan-kekuatan selain Allah SWT.

  • Taurits Al Khairiyah (Mewariskan Hal Yang Terbaik)

Penopang lainnya adalah dengan mempertimbangkan keadaan generasi berikutnya harus lebih baik dari sebelumnya. Maka warisan yang ditinggalkan untuk mereka adalah warisan-warisan kemuliaan. Sehingga mereka mengikuti jejak para pendahulunya yang mempunyai akhlaq mulia. Bila menginginkan generasi sesudahnya menjadi pemberani maka wariskan sifat berani pada mereka. Namun bila mewariskan sifat takut dan pengecut maka jangan harap generasi berikutnya menjadi orang-orang yang heroik dan patriotik.

Abul ‘Ala Al Maududi menegaskan bahwa untuk mewariskan keturunan dan generasi yang lebih baik maka jangan lakukan sifat-sifat rendahan. Karena itu akan menjadi contoh bagi mereka. Ingatlah kebaikan akan mewariskan kebaikan dan keburukan akan mewarisi keburukan pula. Oleh karena itu Allah SWT. telah mengingatkan agar memperhatikan nasib generasi berikutnya dengan mewariskan nilai-nilai kebaikan untuk menjadi dhawabith khairiyah bagi mereka.

“Dan hendaklah takut kepada Allah orang-orang yang seandainya meninggalkan di belakang mereka anak-anak yang lemah, yang mereka khawatir terhadap (kesejahteraan) mereka. Oleh sebab itu hendaklah mereka bertakwa kepada Allah dan hendaklah mereka mengucapkan perkataan yang benar”. (Q.S. An Nisa’: 9)

Adalah hal yang patut dipikirkan para kader dakwah untuk selalu menanamkan tekad dan kemauan agar melahirkan generasi yang terbaik dengan selalu berpegang pada sikap-sikap keteladanan yang di antaranya sikap asy syaja’ah. 

  • As Shabru Ala Ath Tha’ah (Bersabar Terhadap Ketaatan)

Keberanian akan terus ada pada diri kader dakwah apabila mereka bersabar. Sabar terhadap peristiwa yang mereka alami. Karena kesabaran itu merupakan senjata yang ampuh yang memberikan ketahanan menghadapi tekanan berat sekalipun. Dengan kesabaran kita pun dapat membandingkan kejadian yang dirasakan generasi yang lalu dengan yang sedang kita rasakan . Mereka tentu telah mengalami cobaan yang lebih berat ketimbang yang kita alami saat ini. Dengan kesabaran ini kita dapat bertahan dan terus maju melangkah di atas jalan dakwah dengan gagah berani. 

Sebagaimana yang dicontohkan oleh Rasulullah saat menasihati Khabbab bin Al Arts yang berkeluh kesah atas beratnya penderitaan yang dialaminya, beliau mengingatkan Khabbab akan perjuangan para Nabi dan orang-orang shaleh terdahulu yang jauh lebih berat tapi mereka tetap berani dan tabah. Jadi kita bisa memupuk keberanian dan kesabaran dengan berkata, “Ah… cobaan ini belum seberapa dibanding yang pernah dialami orang-orang shaleh terdahulu”.

Oleh sebab itu bekal kesabaran tidak boleh dalam keadaan defisit. Kesabaran mesti dalam kondisi yang selalu cukup dan bertambah. Karena kesabaran yang kuat menjadi tameng dalam menyelamatkan diri atas cobaan-cobaan berat dakwah ini. Allah SWT. pun mengingatkan agar senantiasa bersabar dan menguatkan kesabaran.  

“Hai orang-orang yang beriman, bersabarlah kamu dan kuatkanlah kesabaranmu dan tetaplah bersiap siaga (di perbatasan negerimu) dan bertakwalah kepada Allah supaya kamu beruntung”. (Q.S. Ali Imran: 200)
